About me:
The therapist-client relationship is unique among relationships.  Ideally, your therapist is someone you find trustworthy and easy to talk to, and who is knowledgeable and non-judgmental.

I think it’s important to be able to laugh with (not at but with) your therapist.  Some of our conversation topics will out of necessity probably be somewhat dark, and compatible senses of humor can help add some hope and relief to the therapeutic atmosphere when appropriate.  My sense of therapeutic humor can be found on my Tumblr: peonycounselingatx.  There you will find mental health memes along with some inspirational quotes (#sorrynotsorry) and articles about mental health and wellness that you might find educational or helpful.

In my spare time, I enjoy singing, writing, reading, traveling and learning to play the guitar.
